The Turning of a Page

this has been my front door for the past 2 years and 10 months....since I park in the garage...we never use the front door

and the U-Haul truck....patiently waiting for us to fill it up with our life for the journey to our new home

Tonight we will be spending our last night in our duplex and it's bittersweet.

There are alot of wonderful memories in this place....and some painful ones too. One thing I know for sure is this...the next family to live here will have walls that are filled with Love, Grace, Mercy, Hope, and lots and lots of laughter. That makes my soul smile.

God has been so good to us.

We are still in awe that we will be moving into our new home and we are so excited to fill it with some wonderful memories to come. There is no other love like God's love and he is so faithful and true.

So as I close the doors a final time, I will say a prayer asking the Lord to bless all those who enter and may their lives be filled with Faith, Hope, Love, Peace and Grace.

Gavin turns "1"

Sweet little Gavin is turning "One" I cannot believe how fast time flies. Just today I'm sitting at home with my little boy who is sick and I reflect back over the past 4 years and I cannot believe how fast he is growing up. It is such an honor to take pictures for others and to capture their special moments of their babies growing up.

Blocker Wedding

I had the opportunity to shoot a beautiful wedding last Saturday. My friend Julie's daughter Brittney and her now husband Josh Blocker. It was so much fun and absolutely beautiful.

I'm her one and only

"I am her one and only" photographer that is and I can't tell you what a blessing it has been to see my first little baby I ever did a shoot with grow into the most precious 1 year old. She has been great at every sing shoot....here are some more recents we did the other day.

Luke 1 year

This little man was so much fun to take pictures.....as I go through his photos I reflect back to when my baby turned one....not sure of his chocolate cake....now he is 4 and I know that my days are numbered....my days of finding cars all over the floor....in his bed....in the tub....everywhere....hearing his call for me at 4 am...2am...1am.....his need for me all the time will diminish as he becomes more independent and I am reminded by others who minister to me through their blogs that my days are numbered with my sweet boy....and I need to cherrish and embrace every single moment I have with him....even when he drives me crazy.....I love my son....he is my baby and always will be and I am so blessed.....

Now that I got that out of my heart and soul......I'd like to share little Luke's 1 Year Pictures with you.....He is an absolute sweetie......
